Let the Sunshine In

With mastery and problem-solving abilities, Wayne Gurnick designed the wedding of a second daughter two weeks after The Magic Hours wedding. The ceremony proceeded under the chuppah in the backyard of dear friends and neighbors of the bridal family. For the reception, Wayne and team transformed the private cul-de-sac and played up the bride’s favorite color, yellow, to complement the “sunny day” theme. Covering the ground with ebony turf, Wayne and team installed a custom round high-gloss white dance floor, encircled the street with white top canopies and individually lit tables to create privacy—all while masking the view of the homes on the perimeter. For neighbors who would not have access to their driveways the day of the wedding, the bride’s family treated them to a night’s stay at a nearby hotel.
